Connect Live Shipping Rates to Your Store

Get Live Shipping Rates From Shipping Pilot at Checkout!

Shipping Pilot is excited to announce live shipping rates and services directly from our platform, into yours! Getting started is easy, and requires little technical knowledge.

What are Checkout Rates?

Checkout Rates lets you choose the shipping options and rates displayed on your store’s checkout page. It gives you the opportunity to configure rates for your customers to select during their checkout process from your stores. Enabling this feature will let you control which rates display to your customers while also allowing them to select their preferred service and carrier.

Checkout Rates can be set up to use a flat rate, which allows you to apply the same price to all shipments regardless of shipping cost. In this scenario, the eCommerce owner charges a flat rate fee for shipping no matter where it is going. This usually benefits the eCommerce owner cause they can add in padded margin on the costs.

There are also live rates, which pulls a rate from your carrier accounts for the services you define. In this scenario, the eCommerce owner charges a rate from the courier that is generated based on where the package is going. This usually benefits the buyer because it could save them money depending on location and they can ensure the rates are not padded.
