Overview

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our warehouse facilities. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliations. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and locations.
  • Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from inventory according to pick tickets or instructions. Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring products are protected during transit.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment at all times. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to equipment or inventory.
  • Assistance with Special Projects: Collaborate with team members and supervisors on special projects, such as warehouse reorganizations, process improvements, or inventory optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and record inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry objects, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds without risking injury.
  • Must be capable of spending extended periods walking and standing on the warehouse floor.
  • Good manual dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and small items. Ability to use a computer, scanner, or other electronic devices efficiently.
  • Physical Endurance: Demonstrated physical endurance to handle long hours and high-stress situations, ensuring sustained productivity and efficiency throughout the workday.
